Sacred Spring Reiki Collective is a group of dedicated Reiki Practitioners in the greater Albuquerque area providing Reiki treatments, classes and opportunities to cultivate the healing energy within us all! Their mission is: “Reiki guides us toward the realization that Universal Love resides in each one of us--it is the convergence of Spirit and humanity. Our mission is to honor the innate healing ability of All Living Beings through Reiki.”
We hope you will take the opportunity to benefit from this beautiful practice! 💕
This is a wonderful opportunity for all of our Warriors navigating the challenges of life on the other side of active treatment. Those navigating their “new normal” as NED (no evidence of disease) have an opportunity to get together and discuss the mental and emotional challenges that come after chemo, radiation, and/or surgery.
This group will be IN-PERSON ONLY on the second and last Wednesday’s of each month.
We hope to see you in-person on April 9th! 💕
We are thrilled to be partnering with Amanda Tay (Pink Warrior) and her beautiful studio, The Movement Temple, to bring you this new offering once a month.
This class will be held from 11:30am to 12:25pm once the 2nd Thursday of each month, and will be limited to 29 attendees.
This will be a gentler version of their traditional trapeze yoga class.
From Amanda, “Students are often attracted to the Yoga Trapeze for spinal traction and passive backbends, but very quickly they learn that the functional pulling and grip strength offered compliments a mat-based yoga practice to create a full-body fitness routine.
A yoga practice or exercise routine that integrates The Yoga Trapeze, even if just once or twice per week, includes pushing, pulling, holding, twists, backbends, forward bends, hip opening and so much more. You can work your shoulders, calm your nerves, and leave class floating on air.
Your spine is just like an accordion made up of vertebrae and discs, and the pain you experience is almost always the result of compression. If you release that compression, even just a millimeter, it can massively reduce your pain. Everyone’s body is different, but it is amazing how many people find inversion therapy effective. In just seven minutes you can find remarkable relief.”
Benefits of Inversion Yoga:
•Creates space in your spine with TRACTION
•Improve STRENGTH all around especially with pull motions you do not get in a regular yoga class
•Increase FLEXIBILITY using gravity to achieve deeper passive stretches
•Improve BALANCE on and off the ground
We hope you can join us for this fun and exciting event! 💕
Kintsugi (golden joinery) is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum, a method similar to the maki-e technique. We will be using golden metallic glue sticks to reduce possible fumes and drying time associated with lacquers and resins.
As a philosophy, it treats breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise.
As a form if art therapy, Kintsugi invites you to transcend your struggles and transform your personal hardships into gold. It reminds you that your scars, visible or invisible, are proof that you’ve overcome your difficulties. By marking your history, they demonstrate you’ve survived, and they enrich your soul.
Not only is there no attempt to hide the damage, but the repair is literally illuminated… a kind of physical expression of the spirit of mushin….Mushin is often literally translated as “no mind,” but carries connotations of fully existing within the moment, of non-attachment, of equanimity amid changing conditions.
You are welcome to bring a special piece of ceramicware or pottery if you have one, otherwise we will have options available.
We will be limiting the attendance of this workshop to 20, as our space is limited, and this is an activity which requires multiple steps and some hands on support. We also ask that you limit guests to one per Warrior for this workshop.
If you RSVP, but realize you will not be able to attend, please be sure to remove your RSVP, so we can add someone from the waitlist.
We are so excited to be hosting this Kintsugi , The Art of Repair Workshop, and hope to see you on Saturday, April 12th! 💕
Our monthly in-person Caregiver Groups are the second Monday of each month.
These monthly gatherings will be for the loved ones of all cancer thrivers as they navigate the journey of caring for and supporting someone on this difficult journey.
It will be a peer led group, co-facilitated by Chris Smith and Amy Liotta who both lovingly walked beside their spouses and other family members while they were battling cancer.
The group will be hosted at the Canteen Brewhouse, on the patio, in an area that will be reserved specifically for our group. These groups will be on the second Monday evening of every month.
The support group will be from 6:00-7:00, with an optional Social Hour from 7:00-8:00. So, we encourage caregivers to come grab a drink and/or some food, and get acquainted after the group as well.
Warriors, if you want to accompany your caregiver to Canteen that is wonderful, however the support group portion itself will be limited to caregivers only to give them their own space in which to share and support one another.
Please spread the word, and share with the caregivers in your life. Let’s help support our caregivers the way they love and support us each and every day! 💕
Yin Yoga Salt Cave Yoga & Sound Bath.
The Salt Cave provides an immersive self-care and wellness experience where you can enjoy a variety of services including dry salt therapy in a large salt cave!
This is a 60-minute yoga session in the salt cave, with Stevie as the instructor for this month.
This session is limited to 12 breast cancer thrivers.
We anticipate that this class will end up on a waitlist.
If all 13 spots are taken, and you are interested in being added to the waitlist, please reach out to Allison.
We are paying for each individual slot, so that this can be a free program through PWH. So, if you commit to a space, and are unable to attend, please remove yourself from the RSVP, so that someone from the waitlist may attend accordingly.
Yin Restorative Yoga allows for the body to slow down, relax, and turn inward which helps alleviate stress and restore the body’s energy levels, while improving flexibility, boosting circulation, and reduces tension. The Salt Cave will help alleviate stress and anxiety as well. It provides a relaxing environment with a tranquil atmosphere, making it the perfect haven for mindfulness.
While “yang” yoga focuses on your muscles, yin yoga targets your deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, and joints. It’s slower and more meditative, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body. Because you’re holding poses for a longer period of time than you would in other traditional types of yoga, yin yoga helps you stretch and lengthen those rarely used tissues while also teaching you how to breathe through discomfort and sit with your thoughts.
We hope to see you on April 26th!! 💕

This group will be offered in collaboration with Amy Bellomo Robinson, and the Radiant Healing Together Community.
We will be meeting virtually on the third Thursday of every month. This will be a virtual only gathering. Please find the Zoom link below for your reference.
