Our monthly in-person Caregiver Groups are the second Monday of each month.
These monthly gatherings will be for the loved ones of all cancer thrivers as they navigate the journey of caring for and supporting someone on this difficult journey.
It will be a peer led group, co-facilitated by Chris Smith and Amy Liotta who both lovingly walked beside their spouses and other family members while they were battling cancer.
The group will be hosted at the Canteen Brewhouse, on the patio, in an area that will be reserved specifically for our group. These groups will be on the second Monday evening of every month.
The support group will be from 6:00-7:00, with an optional Social Hour from 7:00-8:00. So, we encourage caregivers to come grab a drink and/or some food, and get acquainted after the group as well.
Warriors, if you want to accompany your caregiver to Canteen that is wonderful, however the support group portion itself will be limited to caregivers only to give them their own space in which to share and support one another.
Please spread the word, and share with the caregivers in your life. Let’s help support our caregivers the way they love and support us each and every day! 💕
Pink Warrior House, Lovelace Embrace and the Young Survival Coalition co-host this monthly gathering.
We hope you can join us, as this is a chance to meet other young women who have been through similar diagnosis, treatment and life changes.
Going through Breast Cancer is difficult at any age, but going through it at a younger age presents some unique challenges. You are not alone! good company guaranteed!

We are so excited to again partner with Patti, and CSP Dance Studios to offer you monthly dance parties (with professional instruction) on the 4th Friday of each month. This month we will actually be dancing on the fifth Friday with CSP dance instructor TJ!
Patti, and her incredible team at CSP Dance Studios (https://www.cspdancestudios.com) are hosting our Pink Warrior House Community for an hour of professional dance instruction, followed by free dance and socializing.
We are thrilled to be able to offer this fun and enjoyable event to our monthly calendar. We are hoping to keep growing this group so please encourage your friends and family to come along, just be sure to include them in your RSVP when you register.
As with all PWH classes, groups and workshops, this is a free event to anyone personally impacted by breast cancer, and their caregivers/loved ones.
We can’t wait to see you on November 22nd for DANCING! 💕
Yin Yoga Salt Cave Yoga & Sound Bath.
The Salt Cave provides an immersive self-care and wellness experience where you can enjoy a variety of services including dry salt therapy in a large salt cave!
This is a 60-minute yoga session in the salt cave, with Stevie as the instructor for this month.
This session is limited to 13 breast cancer thrivers.
We anticipate that this class will end up on a waitlist.
If all 13 spots are taken, and you are interested in being added to the waitlist, please reach out to Allison.
We are paying for each individual slot, so that this can be a free program through PWH. So, if you commit to a space, and are unable to attend, please remove yourself from the RSVP, so that someone from the waitlist may attend accordingly.
Yin Restorative Yoga allows for the body to slow down, relax, and turn inward which helps alleviate stress and restore the body’s energy levels, while improving flexibility, boosting circulation, and reduces tension. The Salt Cave will help alleviate stress and anxiety as well. It provides a relaxing environment with a tranquil atmosphere, making it the perfect haven for mindfulness.
While “yang” yoga focuses on your muscles, yin yoga targets your deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, and joints. It’s slower and more meditative, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body. Because you’re holding poses for a longer period of time than you would in other traditional types of yoga, yin yoga helps you stretch and lengthen those rarely used tissues while also teaching you how to breathe through discomfort and sit with your thoughts.
We hope to see you on November 23rd!! 💕
This group will focus on nutrition and fitness in the battle against breast cancer.
It will be an in-person only group, meeting at Pink Warrior House from 9:30-11:00 on Sunday, November 24th.
We will feature an expert in the field of nutrition and fitness each month, to share helpful information, answer your questions, and provide materials to help you on your journey toward wellness.
Please dress in clothing you can move in, as we be doing some light exercise together, and sampling the wonderful food we learn to cook as well!
We hope you can join us for this fun and informative group! 💕
This is a wonderful opportunity for all of our Warriors navigating the challenges of life on the other side of active treatment. Those navigating their “new normal” as NED (no evidence of disease) have an opportunity to get together and discuss the mental and emotional challenges that come after chemo, radiation, and/or surgery.
This group will be IN-PERSON ONLY on the last Wednesday of each month.
We hope to see you in-person on November 27th! 💕
We all need a little extra support sometimes. That's why affirmation cards and therapy cards are such amazing tools for self-care. Whether you need a reminder of your worth, you're trying to learn meditation and mindfulness techniques, or you want to practice skills you learned in cognitive behavioral therapy or dialectical behavioral therapy, these cards can help you stay positive and motivated.
Affirmation cards are also great gifts to give to someone who needs a little extra love and encouragement. These cards will remind them that they are enough just as they are.
This group will be peer hosted by Allison Hendricks-Smith, LMHC, Master’s in Art Therapy/Counseling, and breast cancer survivor.
No creative experience is required, and as with all Pink Warrior House offerings, this group is open to anyone personally impacted by breast cancer, and their loved ones.
We hope to see you at Pink Warrior House on November 30th! 💕
