Our monthly in-person Caregiver Groups are the second Monday of each month.
These monthly gatherings will be for the loved ones of all cancer thrivers as they navigate the journey of caring for and supporting someone on this difficult journey.
It will be a peer led group, co-facilitated by Chris Smith and Amy Liotta who both lovingly walked beside their spouses and other family members while they were battling cancer.
The group will be hosted at the Canteen Brewhouse, on the patio, in an area that will be reserved specifically for our group. These groups will be on the second Monday evening of every month.
The group will be from 6:00-7:00, but someone will be there as early as 5:30 to greet you. So, we encourage caregivers to come grab a drink and/or some food, and get acquainted before the group begins at 6:00pm.
Warriors, if you want to accompany your caregiver to Canteen that is wonderful, however the group portion itself will be limited to caregivers only to give them their own space in which to share and support one another.
Please spread the word, and share with the caregivers in your life. Let’s help support our caregivers the way they love and support us each and every day! 💕
Pink Warrior House, Lovelace Embrace and the Young Survival Coalition co-host this monthly gathering.
We hope you can join us, as this is a chance to meet other young women who have been through similar diagnosis, treatment and life changes.
Going through Breast Cancer is difficult at any age, but going through it at a younger age presents some unique challenges. You are not alone! good company guaranteed!
This meeting can be attended virtually or in-person. The Zoom link can be found below for your reference.
We hope to see you! 💕

One of our very own Warriors, Sara Ukeiley will be addressing the importance of better sleep for our overall health and well-being in this month’s installment of our Monthly (Virtual) Lecture Series.
Sara Ukeiley is the Director of the YMCA’s Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring Program, a Certified Personal Trainer and Yoga Teacher (RYT-500) with almost 20 years of experience. She is currently pursuing her Yoga Therapy Certification to deepen her knowledge of yoga and all the ways that it can help the body, mind, and spirit. She currently teaches Yoga, Spinning, and TRX classes at the YMCA of Central New Mexico and the Jewish Community Center in Albuquerque. Originally from the Boston area, she has lived in New Mexico since 2013.
Sleep is something that we often take for granted, until we are faced with insomnia or poor sleep. Good sleep is essential for better health, and yet for many of us, it is elusive. In this seminar, we discuss why we need sleep and the consequences of poor quality or not enough sleep. We will also explore sleep hygiene, and learn how we can set ourselves up for success when it comes time to go to bed, as well as mindful techniques that can also help us drift off. At the end of the presentation there will be a 15-minute yoga nidra guided meditation, that can be shared with you afterward in an audio file if you would like.
We hope you can join us for this informative event!

This group will be offered in collaboration with Amy Bellomo Robinson, and the Radiant Healing Together Community.

We are excited to have our very own Pink Warrior, Ann Russell leading us in this engaging and creative workshop!
Bullet Journaling is a technique which has many benefits including memory keeping, mindfulness, creativity, etc. You’ll have a hard time reaching your wellness goals if you don’t have a solid plan in place.
We will also be addressing the benefits of self care with the creation of a Magical Day List, a self care strategy chart, an “I am Awesome” Page, and more.
We hope you can join us for this wonderful installment of art therapy at Pink Warrior House. 💕
This is a wonderful opportunity for all of our Warriors navigating the challenges of life on the other side of active treatment. Those navigating their “new normal” as NED (no evidence of disease) have an opportunity to get together and discuss the mental and emotional challenges that come after chemo, radiation, and/or surgery.
This group will be IN-PERSON ONLY on the last Wednesday of each month.
We hope to see you in-person on September 25th! 💕
Yin Yoga Salt Cave Yoga & Sound Bath.
The Salt Cave provides an immersive self-care and wellness experience where you can enjoy a variety of services including dry salt therapy in a large salt cave!
This is a 60-minute yoga session in the salt cave, with Stevie as the instructor for this month.
This session is limited to 13 breast cancer thrivers.
We anticipate that this class will end up on a waitlist.
If all 13 spots are taken, and you are interested in being added to the waitlist, please reach out to Allison.
We are paying for each individual slot, so that this can be a free program through PWH. So, if you commit to a space, and are unable to attend, please remove yourself from the RSVP, so that someone from the waitlist may attend accordingly.
Yin Restorative Yoga allows for the body to slow down, relax, and turn inward which helps alleviate stress and restore the body’s energy levels, while improving flexibility, boosting circulation, and reduces tension. The Salt Cave will help alleviate stress and anxiety as well. It provides a relaxing environment with a tranquil atmosphere, making it the perfect haven for mindfulness.
While “yang” yoga focuses on your muscles, yin yoga targets your deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, and joints. It’s slower and more meditative, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body. Because you’re holding poses for a longer period of time than you would in other traditional types of yoga, yin yoga helps you stretch and lengthen those rarely used tissues while also teaching you how to breathe through discomfort and sit with your thoughts.
We hope to see you on September 28th! 💕
