We are moving Women’s Care Wednesday to Pink Warrior House just for the month of October.
In addition to all of our regularly scheduled activitives, we are so excited to welcome Heather Sanchez, oncological esthetician, to work with us on amazing skincare. Kevin and Dani will also be on hand making smoothie bowls for the nutrition portion of the day. We will have lunch, art therapy, meditation, and we may even get a little yoga in, time permitting.
We hope you can join us on Wednesday, October 2nd from 10:00am-2:00pm AT PINK WARRIOR HOUSE, for this fun and exciting day! 💕
Hi all! We are so excited to partner with Canteen Brewhouse, Steelbender Brewyard and High & Dry Brewing for this awesome walk/run to benefit Pink Warrior House.
We need 10 volunteers (who aren’t already planning on dashing) to come out and help with the fun, this Friday evening, at Canteen Brewhouse. The volunteer shift will be from 5:30-7:30pm. Please let us know if you are interested in helping out.
Thank you! 💕
Come join us for this exciting and beautiful opportunity! 💕
Grown in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Live Heal Grow, is a woman owned business that offers body/breast casting in the privacy of your own home with the option of custom painting. Celebrating the human form as we live, heal, and grow. Body/Chest casting to empower your healing and growth journey.
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we will be donating body casts at Pink Warrior House and will have two sessions per hour from 10-3.
We can schedule two people per hour (10:00-3:00), and are capping this event at 10 people. Once you RSVP, Allison will reach out to schedule you for a specific time slot. We will invite everyone back in November to paint and finish their castings.
To start the process, we will ask you to apply a thin coat of lubricant to the body. This will act as a protective barrier between your skin and the cast. You may wear a bra if you wish but it will get some plaster on it. We start by wrapping your body with warm layers of plaster. After 20-30 minutes the plaster will begin to harden. Once the cast naturally separates from the body, you can wipe off any excess plaster left on the body.
We are looking forward to meeting you.

Hi all! We typically don’t share events that aren’t entirely free, but many of you have asked what fundraising activities we have going on in October. Here is one of the fundraisers we are really excited to have as a new event for Pink Warrior House Foundation this year.
Come join us in helping New Mexico United go pink, and Kick Out Cancer on Wednesday, October 9th!
New Mexico United is offering us discounted tickets with the link below.
Additionally, each ticket purchased through this link will donate $5 to Pink Warrior House to support our programs and services throughout the year.
https://newmexicoutd.group/PINKWARRIOR24
Please feel free to share the link with anyone you think might want to come out for this fun and exciting evening, supporting Pink Warrior House.
*If you would like to attend, and are not in a position to purchase a ticket, please reach out to Allison@pinkwarriorhouse.org directly, as we may have a few donated tickets available.
As our community of Pink Warriors grows, we have many more members who are on the journey specific to metastatic disease (Stage IV). We understand that some of your needs and experiences are unique, and we want to provide a forum where you can come together (virtually) with other metastatic warriors to share, listen, and support one another.
This group will be offered in collaboration with Amy Bellomo Robinson, and the Radiant Healing Together Community.
We will be meeting virtually on the third Thursday of every month. This will be a virtual only gathering. Please find the Zoom link below for your reference.
We hope you can join us! 💕

Come join us for a fun filled evening of pampering and learning!
Our host Leandra Baca, owner of Hidden Treasure Salon and cancer survivor, will teach us how to address the changes that occur to our skin and faces during and after cancer treatment.
Because of our generous partners, Thrive Cosmetics, we are able to gift each participant a bag full of high end cosmetics, skincare and pampering goodies!
We will also have light snacks and refreshments!
Please feel free to bring a guest, but be sure to RSVP with a plus one if you are bringing a loved one.
We hope you can join us, as it is such a fun evening for all! 💕
Our monthly in-person Caregiver Groups are the second Monday of each month.
These monthly gatherings will be for the loved ones of all cancer thrivers as they navigate the journey of caring for and supporting someone on this difficult journey.
It will be a peer led group, co-facilitated by Chris Smith and Amy Liotta who both lovingly walked beside their spouses and other family members while they were battling cancer.
The group will be hosted at the Canteen Brewhouse, on the patio, in an area that will be reserved specifically for our group. These groups will be on the second Monday evening of every month.
The group will be from 6:00-7:00, but someone will be there as early as 5:30 to greet you. So, we encourage caregivers to come grab a drink and/or some food, and get acquainted before the group begins at 6:00pm.
Warriors, if you want to accompany your caregiver to Canteen that is wonderful, however the group portion itself will be limited to caregivers only to give them their own space in which to share and support one another.
Please spread the word, and share with the caregivers in your life. Let’s help support our caregivers the way they love and support us each and every day! 💕
We are so excited to again partner with Patti, and CSP Dance Studios to offer you monthly dance parties (with professional instruction) on the 4th Friday of each month. This month we will actually be dancing on the fifth Friday with CSP dance instructor TJ!
Patti, and her incredible team at CSP Dance Studios (https://www.cspdancestudios.com) are hosting our Pink Warrior House Community for an hour of professional dance instruction, followed by free dance and socializing.
We are thrilled to be able to offer this fun and enjoyable event to our monthly calendar. We are hoping to keep growing this group so please encourage your friends and family to come along, just be sure to include them in your RSVP when you register.
As with all PWH classes, groups and workshops, this is a free event to anyone personally impacted by breast cancer, and their caregivers/loved ones.
We can’t wait to see you on October 18th for DANCING! 💕

We hope to see you on Monday, October 21st at 6:00pm, in the salt cave! 💕

Yin Yoga Salt Cave Yoga & Sound Bath.
The Salt Cave provides an immersive self-care and wellness experience where you can enjoy a variety of services including dry salt therapy in a large salt cave!
This is a 60-minute yoga session in the salt cave, with Stevie as the instructor for this month.
This session is limited to 13 breast cancer thrivers.
We anticipate that this class will end up on a waitlist.
If all 13 spots are taken, and you are interested in being added to the waitlist, please reach out to Allison.
We are paying for each individual slot, so that this can be a free program through PWH. So, if you commit to a space, and are unable to attend, please remove yourself from the RSVP, so that someone from the waitlist may attend accordingly.
Yin Restorative Yoga allows for the body to slow down, relax, and turn inward which helps alleviate stress and restore the body’s energy levels, while improving flexibility, boosting circulation, and reduces tension. The Salt Cave will help alleviate stress and anxiety as well. It provides a relaxing environment with a tranquil atmosphere, making it the perfect haven for mindfulness.
While “yang” yoga focuses on your muscles, yin yoga targets your deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, and joints. It’s slower and more meditative, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body. Because you’re holding poses for a longer period of time than you would in other traditional types of yoga, yin yoga helps you stretch and lengthen those rarely used tissues while also teaching you how to breathe through discomfort and sit with your thoughts.
We hope to see you on October 26th!! 💕

This is a wonderful opportunity for all of our Warriors navigating the challenges of life on the other side of active treatment. Those navigating their “new normal” as NED (no evidence of disease) have an opportunity to get together and discuss the mental and emotional challenges that come after chemo, radiation, and/or surgery.
This group will be IN-PERSON ONLY on the last Wednesday of each month.
We hope to see you in-person on October 30th! 💕
