We are excited for Pink Chapter, our monthly Pink Warrior House book club!
This group will meet in-person on the 1st Thursday evening of each month.
We will also have a virtual group, that will meet on the 2nd Thursday evening of each month, also from 6:00-7:00pm. There will be a different invite for the virtual group (on Thursday, August 13th) which will include a Zoom link. The books will be the same for both groups each month.
For this month we selected Solito, by Xavier Zamora. October and November’s books will be selected at September’s meeting.
We will be focusing on inspirational books, selected by the group. We will take suggestions from participants each month.
We also have a Pink Chapter group on Fable, so that we can stay connected throughout the month. Please find the link below if you would like to join our Fable Group.
If you are around the evening of July 2nd (5:00-8:00pm), and would like to see more of the Painted Lady and the trolley at Pink Warrior House, come on down and have a pint!
Our landlord (the Painted Lady Bed and Brew) is hosting this fun evening, and donating $1 from every pint to support our programs and services.
We hope to see you! 💕

Sacred Spring Reiki Collective is a group of dedicated Reiki Practitioners in the greater Albuquerque area providing Reiki treatments, classes and opportunities to cultivate the healing energy within us all! Their mission is: “Reiki guides us toward the realization that Universal Love resides in each one of us--it is the convergence of Spirit and humanity. Our mission is to honor the innate healing ability of All Living Beings through Reiki.”
We hope you will take the opportunity to benefit from this beautiful practice! 💕
This is a wonderful opportunity for all of our Warriors navigating the challenges of life on the other side of active treatment. Those navigating their “new normal” as NED (no evidence of disease) have an opportunity to get together and discuss the mental and emotional challenges that come after chemo, radiation, and/or surgery.
This group will be IN-PERSON ONLY on the second and last Wednesday’s of each month.
We hope to see you in-person on September 9th! 💕
We are thrilled to be adding this new program to our offerings!
We will be hiking (spring through fall) one Saturday each month. Anna Scarborough and Anita Rose will be our guides. She is one of our Pink Warrior sisters, who worked for the forest service for more than two decades. She will be sharing her knowledge of our beautiful local lands!
There will all be easy to moderate hikes, as described in these monthly invitations.
This month we will be starting from the Rio Grande Nature Center State Park. It is a very easy paved path. We will meet at Rio Grande Nature Center State Park, 2901 Candelaria Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107.
THIS EVENT WILL BE WEATHER PERMITTING!
Pink Warrior House will bring cold waters and snacks for everyone. We will plan on hiking for 60-90 minutes, at a slow to moderate pace.
Our monthly in-person Caregiver Groups are the second Monday of each month.
These monthly gatherings will be for the loved ones of all cancer thrivers as they navigate the journey of caring for and supporting someone on this difficult journey.
It will be a peer led group, facilitated by Chris Smith, who lovingly walked beside his wife and father while they were battling cancer.
The group will be hosted at the Canteen Brewhouse, on the patio, in an area that will be reserved specifically for our group. These groups will be on the second Monday evening of every month.
The support group will be from 6:00-7:00, with an optional Social Hour from 7:00-8:00. So, we encourage caregivers to come grab a drink and/or some food, and get acquainted after the group as well.
Warriors, if you want to accompany your caregiver to Canteen that is wonderful, however the support group portion itself will be limited to caregivers only to give them their own space in which to share and support one another.
Please spread the word, and share with the caregivers in your life. Let’s help support our caregivers the way they love and support us each and every day! 💕

By applying, participants commit to attending their specifically assigned day and session. Specific dates and time requests are not guaranteed.
* Virtual Consultation: To ensure we fully understandyour needs and can adequately prepare, participants must agree to attend a virtual consultation at least one week prior to the date of the tattoo event.
* Healing Timeline: To ensure the safest and best possible outcome, participants must be a minimum of six months post-operation from their most recent breast surgery to be eligible.

* Photo Consent: Participants must agree to the use of faceless photographs for professional purposes. These images are vital for documenting healing progress, educating future clients, and updating our website gallery.

If you have a vacation or highly active event planned within this two-week window, it is not advisable to participate at this time.
If you are interested in participating, please RSVP here, and reach out to Allison at (505) 577-5264 to schedule.
